What is the S-Labs Tab?
The S-Labs Tab has been added to enable Laboratory teams to take part in their own part of the programme. If you are not a team based in a lab, you do not need to work through this tab. Treat this tab in the same way as the others: click the done, not applicable, or not done radio button and leave comments as you go.

What is the special category?
The criteria within the workbook were designed to be applicable to as many departments as possible, so focus on areas such as heating, lighting and travel. However we recognise that many departments have significant environmental impacts outside of the criteria which they are addressing. We chose a number of special awards to recognise the important innovative work departments are implementing to improve their environmental performance, reduce their energy consumption and to celebrate those individuals who are driving those changes. Please use this category to write about all the special achievements your department has been part of. The winners of these categories locally will be entered into the national Green Impact Special Awards which are announced each summer.

Where can I find out more information about the functionality of the toolkit?
There is a user guide which you can refer to here which explains how to manage your personal and team account, how to access the glossary, how to make and review comments and evidence, how to export or print the toolkit as well as submitting your toolkit. If you are still having problems with a particular toolkit functionality issue please contact Laura at NUS

What happens if we don't get a Bronze?
If you are unable to complete all of the bronze criteria you will receive a working towards accreditation. However, if you are able to complete all of the bronze criteria apart from those which are not applicable to your team you will still receive the Bronze standard.

Who can help me with completing the workbook?
Anyone within your team can support you to complete the workbook and we would encourage you to get as many people involved as possible. If your colleagues also want access to the workbook, just get them to register, choosing your team from the drop-down menu so they can see the same comments as you. If you have any problems, particularly resource based, please get in touch with your local Green Impact lead. If you have a wider problem, your appointed NUS Sustainability Project Officer will be happy to help. Please find their details under Contact or in the green footer at the bottom of each page.
